A 40-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a death in Co Antrim. <\/p>\n
Police are currently at the scene in the Old Mill Drive area of Newtownabbey. <\/p>\n
In a statement, a PSNI spokesperson said: \u201cDetectives investigating a report of a suspicious death in the Old Mill Drive area of Newtownabbey have this evening, Sunday 12th October, made an arrest.<\/p>\n
“One man, aged 40, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at this time, assisting with police enquiries. A further update will be provided in due course.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier on Sunday evening police said they were at the scene of a suspicious death. <\/p>\n
On Monday speaking at the scene Sinn Fein councillor Taylor McGrann said it was \u201cabsolutely awful news\u201d.<\/p>\n
“All I can really say is my heart goes out to the family.<\/p>\n
“My thoughts go out to all of the young woman\u2019s family and friends at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alliance councillor Billy Webb told the Belfast Telegraph: \u201cI know the community of the Old Mill Drive very well and the general area very well and I know they will be absolutely shocked at what has happened.\u201d<\/p>\n
DUP councillor Matthew Brady said: \u201cThe community is deeply shocked and saddened by this tragic event.<\/p>\n
