Prince William lets out his \u2018prickly side\u2019 with cancer patient King Charles<\/p>\n
It appears there is trouble brewing within the British royal family and its all to do with King Charles and Prince William\u2019s rumored rift. <\/p>\n
News about all this has been shared in a report by royal author Phil Dampier. <\/p>\n
He recently penned a piece for\u00a0Woman\u2019s Day and pointed out how badly Prince William\u2019s tactics are going down with his father. <\/p>\n
According to the author, \u201cCharles is not comfortable with aides close to William leaking nuggets of how he might operate when his time comes, as if he is a King in waiting.\u201d<\/p>\n
Plus, his decision to move his homebase to Forest Lodge instead of the Royal Family\u2019s vast array of castles has also sparked friction because \u201cCharles was hoping William would move his family into Windsor Castle, using at least one of their many homes,\u201d according to Mr Dampier. <\/p>\n
He also referenced an admission by royal author and socialite Lady Colin Campbell.<\/p>\n
She said it\u2019s mainly because \u201cWilliam has always had a tetchy and prickly side and likes to do things his way.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also noted, \u201cthere is no doubt this stems from his childhood as he saw his parents\u2019 marriage fall apart and then, of course, suffered the death of his mother, Diana.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the King thinks he is slightly lazy,\u201d she also went as far as to allege \u201cbut they are much closer now because they have had to cooperate, faced with Harry and Meghan\u2019s departure and war of words.\u201d<\/p>\n
