\n\tChrissy Teigen gushed to People <\/a>about the Duchess of Sussex, telling them, \u201cI really adore her. I think she is so incredibly strong.\u201d The 39-year-old supermodel is, of course, referring to the constant chatter about the royal family<\/a> member, which she finds \u201cinsane.\u201d It\u2019s hard for Teigen to understand how \u201cpolarizing\u201d Meghan is <\/a>\u201cwhen she really is just such a kind, good person that wants the best for all her friends and the best for people around her, and the best for her own relationship and for her children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTeigen made an appearance on Season 2 of her pal\u2019s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and stands by her belief that the perception about the Duchess of Sussex is completely off-base. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd people come up with all these different things that she could be about or what she wants, \u2026 [but] it\u2019s not that complicated,\u201d Teigen noted. \u201cPeople are always going to read into what they want to read into, and they\u2019re going to hyperfocus into what they want to believe<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeghan is apparently unbothered by the noise, but Teigen probably understands the heat of a controversy. In 2021, she faced criticism for bullying reality show personality Courtney Stodden via a tweet and private messages. Teigen apologized<\/a> four years ago in a public statement, \u201cI hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStodden spoke up in August about Meghan having Teigen guest star on her show. \u201cI posted about this, and I saw Chrissy Teigen was on my Instagram watching my Story, so I decided to reach out to Chrissy on DM and tell her that I\u2019m here if she needs to talk and I do not believe people should be bullying her and she shouldn\u2019t be listening to anyone who\u2019s bullying her,\u201d she said on Instagram on Aug. 15, per the Daily Mail.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tThe women did not hash it out as Stodden claimed that Teigen \u201ccompletely ignored me.\u201d So, for now, Teigen still has a simmering feud with Stodden, and it\u2019s probably why she understands Meghan\u2019s experiences as a controversial public figure. <\/p>\n
