{"id":498084,"date":"2025-10-14T06:20:40","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T06:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/498084\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T06:20:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T06:20:40","slug":"its-punter-of-the-year-time-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/498084\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Punter of the Year time again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                        14 October 2025<\/p>\n<p>                                , <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrnz.co.nz\/news\/category\/punters-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Punters Info<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new format&#8217;s been finalised for the TAB Show Day Punter of the Year Challenge at Addington Raceway.<\/p>\n<p>The Friday (November 14) meeting is always a massive part of Cup week and includes the two $500,000 slot races, the Majestic Horse Floats THE ASCENT and the Hill, Lee and Scott THE VELOCITY.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Challenge will see one major change from previous editions &#8211; all transactions will be done on-line whereas last year teams were given a betting voucher and then had to bet on the tote.<\/p>\n<p>Each syndicate can have up to four members per team. They will be based on the stables rooftop.<\/p>\n<p>Each participant\/ syndicate must have an on-line TAB account with an opening balance of $600 at the start of the challenge.<\/p>\n<p>There will cash prizes of $5000 as well as plenty of giveaways during the day and a buffet lunch will be provided.
