A big name brand has shut their shop in Sheffield city centre.<\/p>\n
We\u2019d previously reported on plans for The Entertainer in The Moor to close<\/a>. The toy specialist has now ceased trading in Sheffield city centre.<\/p>\n Ahead of its last day, customers could take advantage of some significant discounts on products. Explaining the closure, Andrew Murphy OBE, group chief executive officer at The Entertainer, said: \u201cWe are disappointed that we were unable to agree on commercially viable terms with our landlord at our Sheffield<\/a> Moor store and particularly upset at the impact this has on our colleagues, who have run the store brilliantly.<\/p>\n “Sadly, it is a fact of retail life that shops sometimes have to close, as shopping patterns shift and cost growth outstrips sales increases.
