The Brain Charity is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to help lead the charity\u2019s next phase of growth and impact. <\/p>\n

This follows the departure of former CEO Pippa Sargent, who moved on from her role earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a respected voice and national resource for individuals and families affected by neurological conditions, The Brain Charity is at an exciting juncture. Building on a 30-year legacy of innovation and compassionate care, the incoming CEO will be instrumental in shaping and delivering the organisation\u2019s future strategy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and direction for The Brain Charity, ensuring its mission is embedded in every aspect of the organisation\u2019s work. This is a rare opportunity to guide a well-established and ambitious national charity into its next chapter, shaping a sustainable future for services that support people across the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Working closely with the Board of Trustees, senior leadership team, staff, volunteers, and external partners, the CEO will lead the development and delivery of the organisation\u2019s strategy, drive income generation through fundraising and partnerships, and oversee effective, values-led operational management. They will also represent The Brain Charity publicly, cultivating influential relationships across the health, social care, voluntary, and private sectors, and ensuring the highest governance standards, transparency, and accountability.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The role demands a compassionate, inclusive, and forward-thinking leader with a proven ability to build and nurture high-performing teams and deliver lasting social impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Applicants will need a strong track record in leading similar organisations. Health and Social Care and\/or social science qualifications at NVQ Level 4 or above and\/or a relevant professional qualification are required. A commitment to equality, neurodiversity, and inclusive practice is essential.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since its founding as the Mersey Neurological Trust in 1992, The Brain Charity has evolved into a UK-wide support hub for people living with neurological conditions and their families. <\/p>\n
