Image credit: Scotland Demands Better. &#13;<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday 25 October 2025, individuals and communities from across Scotland will be gathering for the Scotland Demands Better march and rally.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Launched by The Poverty Alliance, Scotland Demands Better is a coalition campaign to show politicians that we need more action to tackle the injustice of poverty and build\u00a0a society where every household can thrive and prosper.<\/p>\n<p>With approximately 5,000 people expected to take part, the march and rally will include musical acts, speeches, food vendors and free activities for children.<\/p>\n<p>Details and timings<\/p>\n<p>The march will set off from outside the Scottish Parliament, march through the centre of Edinburgh and end at the Meadows where the rally will take place.<\/p>\n<ul>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>10am &#8211; 11am:<\/strong> Assembly on Horse Wynd, outside the Scottish Parliament<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>11am &#8211; 12:30pm:<\/strong> March from the Scottish Parliament to the Meadows<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>12:30pm &#8211; 1pm:<\/strong> Marchers arrive at the Meadows<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li><strong>1pm &#8211; 4:30pm: <\/strong>Rally at the Meadows<\/li>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/ul>\n<p>For those with restricted mobility, there is a reduced route available with no steep inclines and no cobbles underfoot.
