They\u2019re not in the office anymore. And no help is coming. Director Sam Raimi<\/strong> (The Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) is back early next year with the darkly comedic psychological thriller Send Help<\/strong>, and 20th Century Studios has unleashed the official trailer today. Watch below!<\/p>\n

While not a straight up horror movie in the way Drag Me to Hell marked Raimi\u2019s full-on return to horror back in 2009, it\u2019s clear from the trailer that Send Help will allow Raimi to flex those muscles again. It looks like a violent survival movie with that trademark Sam Raimi humor coursing through its veins, though don\u2019t expect any supernatural elements from this one.<\/p>\n

Rachel McAdams<\/strong> and Dylan O\u2019Brien<\/strong> star in Send Help, releasing in theaters January 30, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Edyll Ismail<\/strong> (\u201cLa Brea\u201d), Dennis Haysbert<\/strong> (\u201cFar from Heaven\u201d), Xavier Samuel<\/strong> (\u201cElvis\u201d), Chris Pang<\/strong> (\u201cCrazy Rich Asians\u201d), Thaneth Warakulnukroh<\/strong> (\u201cThai Cave Rescue\u201d) and Emma Raimi<\/strong> (\u201cHappy Pills\u201d) also star in Sam Raimi\u2019s new movie Send Help.<\/p>\n

In the film, \u201cLinda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O\u2019Brien) are two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a deserted island after they are the only survivors of a plane crash. They must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it is an unsettling and darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always loved stories where interesting, dynamic characters are pushed to extremes,\u201d says director Sam Raimi. \u201cIn our story, the power shifts create an escalating situation that\u2019s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Send Help is produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi (\u201c65\u201d), executive produced by JJ Hook (\u201cThe Amateur\u201d) and written by Damian Shannon & Mark Swift<\/strong> (\u201cFriday the 13th,\u201d \u201cBaywatch\u201d), with original music by Danny Elfman<\/strong> (\u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas,\u201d \u201cBatman\u201d).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
