Prince William and Kate Middleton surprised fans with a visit to Northern Ireland on Tuesday where eagle-eyed observers will have noticed the Princess of Wales made a quick change during their day out.<\/p>\n

Kate kicked off the trip in an Alexander McQueen coat, before trading it for a more laid-back Barbour jacket for some countryside activities.<\/p>\n

William and Kate visit an orchard in Portadown<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales showed off a tailored look as she arrived at the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service\u2019s new Learning and Development College, sporting a bespoke olive green coat that she’s worn on a number of occasions, including Christmas Day 2022.<\/p>\n

She paired the long, patch-pocket coat with another custom piece, wearing a pair of brown suede Gianvito Rossi boots and accessorizing with gold Daniella Draper shamrock hoop earrings.<\/p>\n

The royals took a trip on a fire engine and had a go at making potato apple bread during their visit to Northern Ireland as they carried out a series of engagements across counties Tyrone and Armagh.<\/p>\n

William and Kate visited a dairy farm and enjoyed freshly-squeezed juice from Armagh\u2019s famed apples, while also touring the NI Fire & Rescue Service\u2019s new Learning and Development College near Cookstown.<\/p>\n

The royal visitors observed live demonstrations that reflect real-life emergency scenarios, including flood water rescues and rope<\/p>\n

At Mallon Farm near Cookstown, Kate wore her much-loved brown Penelope Chilvers pair and donned a Winter Defence waxed Barbour jacket.<\/p>\n

A Ralph Lauren tweed maxi skirt and black turtleneck were complemented by a coffee-coloured With Nothing Underneath cardigan.<\/p>\n
