The first four Indiana Jones<\/a> movies have found a new streaming home in the UK and Ireland after they were removed from Disney+<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Steven Spielberg directed entries \u2013 Raiders of the Lost Ark<\/a>, The Temple of Doom<\/a>, The Last Crusade<\/a>, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull<\/a> \u2013 have been added to Netflix UK and Ireland<\/a> as of today.<\/p>\n

Harrison Ford<\/a>‘s first four outings as the hat and whip-wielding archaeologist are also available for Prime Video<\/a> and NOW\/Sky subscribers and have been for a while, but their removal from Disney+ last December confused fans.<\/p>\n

While it’s true the films were created and owned by Lucasfilm, which Disney has owned since 2012, Paramount Pictures actually has the distribution rights. <\/p>\n

It’s also worth noting that fifth film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is solely a Disney venture, so it shouldn’t be removed from Disney+ (and is less likely to come to Netflix).<\/p>\n

The Dial of Destiny released to mixed reviews and was a box-office bomb despite its large budget. <\/p>\n

Ford recently addressed the box office flop<\/a>, stating: “S**t happens. I was really the one who felt there was another story to tell.”<\/p>\n

He added: “When [Indy] had suffered the consequences of the life that he had to live, I wanted one more chance to pick him up and shake the dust off his ass and stick him out there, bereft of some of his vigor, to see what happened. <\/p>\n

“I’m still happy I made that movie.”<\/p>\n

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny<\/strong> is now streaming on <\/strong>Disney+<\/strong><\/a>, the others are available on Netflix, Prime Video<\/a>, and NOW<\/a>\/Sky<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
