Grant Harrold, who served as King Charles\u2019 butler from 2004 to 2011, recalled meeting Middleton when she was still dating Prince William. From the beginning, he said, her regal qualities stood out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat girl was a Queen in waiting in every aspect,\u201d he said. \u201cShe is the perfect Queen material, and you can so obviously see that. Everything about her \u2014 the way she carried herself, the way she spoke, the way she interacted with people, her kindness, her beauty.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cKate has always been revered by the royal family \u2014 she\u2019s their steady hand and moral compass,\u201d the source said. \u201cThe late princess had heart and charisma, but Kate brings composure and quiet strength. That\u2019s exactly what the monarchy needs now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrold described how, even as a 22-year-old guest at Highgrove, Kate Middleton displayed natural elegance and confidence. \u201cShe was, if I can say, the modern-day Princess Diana. She was everything you can imagine \u2014 she is a beautiful and intelligent woman,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Harrold also remembered Middleton\u2019s warmth toward royal staff, explaining that, \u201cDiana used to do things at Sandringham to make the staff laugh by poking her head out the window and pulling faces, and Kate was doing the same kind of thing,\u201d he recalled. \u201cShe never made people feel beneath her.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
