With the deadline for fireworks licence applications<\/a> in Northern Ireland ending on October 17, the Department of Justice are reminding the public to ensure they source their fireworks from a reputable supplier.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s mandatory in Northern Ireland to have a licence, even if you are just using fireworks<\/a> for a small family celebration.<\/p>\n

Fireworks<\/a> must be purchased from a retailer who has been registered by the Department of Justice. Those bought from illegal sources may not be safe and may result in prosecution.<\/p>\n
