{"id":502325,"date":"2025-10-15T20:09:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T20:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/502325\/"},"modified":"2025-10-15T20:09:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T20:09:11","slug":"race-result-15-oct-2025-happy-valley-race-1-ngau-chi-wan-handicap-hk-racing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/502325\/","title":{"rendered":"Race Result | 15 Oct 2025 | Happy Valley | Race 1 NGAU CHI WAN HANDICAP | HK Racing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                      Racing Incident Report<\/p>\n<p>Horse No 1 COURIER MAGIC (H290) Z Purton Raced keenly in the early stages. <\/p>\n<p>Sent for sampling post-race. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 2 NINJA DERBY (H339) L Hewitson Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 3 COSMO LIGHT (J379) H T Mo Became fractious whilst being loaded at Sha Tin and sustained a small abrasion to the right knee. <\/p>\n<p>Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. <\/p>\n<p>After the event H T Mo confirmed that the instructions from a wide barrier were to go forward. <\/p>\n<p>A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 4 DRAGON SUNRISE (J269) K De Melo Held up approaching the 300 Metres. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 5 LITTLE FAIRY (H206) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly. <\/p>\n<p>R Kingscote was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 200 Metres. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 7 GOLD TACK (H106) M F Poon Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between APOLAR FIGHTER and THE WAY WE WIN. <\/p>\n<p>Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. <\/p>\n<p>Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 8 HE WAS ME (J535) M L Yeung Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 9 MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065) D Probert Shifted out abruptly at the start and was bumped. <\/p>\n<p>Near the 1400 Metres was momentarily crowded by HE WAS ME which shifted in slightly before being corrected by its rider M L Yeung. <\/p>\n<p>Making the first turn near the 1300 Metres was eased to allow LAPRAS (M Chadwick) to cross. <\/p>\n<p>M Chadwick was advised to ensure he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. <\/p>\n<p>Near the 500 Metres shifted out abruptly when being steadied to avoid LAPRAS. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 10 APOLAR FIGHTER (J169) C L Chau Sent for sampling post-race. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 11 THE WAY WE WIN (J493) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between GOLD TACK and MANYTHANKS FOREVER which shifted out abruptly. <\/p>\n<p>Approaching the 600 Metres was shifted to a position one-off to follow MANYTHANKS FOREVER. <\/p>\n<p>Near the 500 Metres MANYTHANKS FOREVER then shifted out abruptly when being steadied to avoid LAPRAS which resulted in THE WAY WE WIN improving to the inside of MANYTHANKS FOREVER. <\/p>\n<p>A short distance later THE WAY WE WIN struck the heels of MANYTHANKS FOREVER when that runner shifted back in to resume its position. <\/p>\n<p>As the Stewards were satisfied that there was no rider error involved in the incident no action was taken. <\/p>\n<p>After the event H Bentley stated that his mount settled further back in the field after being crowded at the start. <\/p>\n<p>He said after THE WAY WE WIN lost ground when it blundered near the 600 Metres it did not finish the race off thereafter. <\/p>\n<p>A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <\/p>\n<p>Horse No 12 LAPRAS (H374) M Chadwick Over the final 100 Metres could not be ridden out when held up behind COSMO LIGHT which was giving ground. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Racing Incident Report Horse No 1 COURIER MAGIC (H290) Z Purton Raced keenly in the early stages.
