\u201cI loved that I created a community based on honest advice and helping people out. With a strong female-based community behind me, brands began reaching out.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom gifted collabs to paid ones, I realised that I could start a real side hustle by creating content \u2013 something I loved to do anyway \u2013 and it went from there.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, I\u2019ve worked with so many of my dream brands across beauty, fashion, fitness, lifestyle and food and I feel so lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nano influencers are often seen as regular people and their theme is focused on a specific niche market.<\/p>\n
Emily\u2019s best month so far was in July, when she brought in over \u00a31,000.<\/p>\n
Though on average, she makes around \u00a3200 a month from brand deals and ongoing partnerships that she has built over time.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cMy paid collaborations have massively helped me save for my future, as they provide a nice bit of extra income each month.<\/p>\n
\u201cI won\u2019t give specifics on earnings, but let\u2019s just say \u2013 many brands do pay very well.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s no secret that the market is pretty saturated right now when it comes to influencers, but if you are truly yourself and focus on your niche, it\u2019s possible to establish yourself and get a clear identity that shines through in your content.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emily\u2019s platform has grown from sharing career tips to covering everything from workouts to skincare and everyday life.<\/p>\n
The Mancunian, who is managed by the influencer agency SHOUT, added: \u201cMy advice is be yourself, be unique and be creative. Don\u2019t forget that it\u2019s all about quality over quantity.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s lots of chatter within the industry that to be successful you need to post three times a day but that isn\u2019t the case.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t be scared to jump on trends but don\u2019t focus on that. Find what you\u2019re passionate about, what you enjoy creating content around and go from there.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t burn yourself out at the very start.
