Daniel Farke is looking over his shoulder at Leeds United as 49ers Enterprises could potentially sack him after winning Premier League promotion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The German manager secured a top-two spot for the Whites after beating Stoke City 6-0 at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Recent reports have suggested that the 49ers may look to replace Farke<\/a> at the end of the season due to his poor record in the English top flight.<\/p>\n

With two games left to play this season, the West Yorkshire outfit have the chance of clinching the Championship<\/a> title, but the former Norwich City boss\u2019 future will be one to keep an eye on.<\/p>\n

Senior players at Elland Road<\/a> are backing Farke amid speculation around his future, Graeme Bailey says.<\/p>\n

The TBR Football journalist believes several influential players at the West Yorkshire outfit appreciate the German manager for the work he\u2019s done this season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Farke<\/a> has had to deal with multiple fitness issues in the squad over the last few months, but the Whites are set to end their two-year exile from the top flight soon.<\/p>\n

Bailey said<\/a> (24 April): \u201cI think there\u2019s a good section of the senior players who appreciate Farke for the way he\u2019s managed the squad this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think a lot of what he\u2019s done in the last month will be massively in his favour, and I think the senior players will back him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Norwich City fans will welcome Farke back with open arms if the Whites sack him, Chris Sutton says.<\/p>\n

The former English forward believes the Canaries\u2019 supporters won\u2019t think twice about having the German manager back at Carrow Road.<\/p>\n

While a return to Norfolk has been mooted, Sutton has urged the West Yorkshire outfit to back the manager in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n

Speaking on It\u2019s All Kicking Off (24 April), the Englishman said: \u201cDo I have a problem with Leeds changing managers after Farke gets them promoted? I think it\u2019s extremely harsh if it were to happen. If they can get someone with a far greater skill set, that\u2019s very subjective.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I would say to you, if you ask any Norwich City fan if they\u2019d take Farke back, they\u2019d in an absolute heartbeat. If Leeds spend wisely, which Norwich didn\u2019t do when Farke was at the helm, then they may give themselves an opportunity. But we know how difficult it is for promoted teams to stay in the Premier League.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Graeme Souness wasn\u2019t surprised to see Harry Gray\u2019s debut make his father, Eddie, emotional.<\/p>\n

The ex-Liverpool star wasn\u2019t shocked to see the former Leeds<\/a> hero wiping away a tear when his 16-year-old son made his debut at Elland Road against Stoke on 21 April.<\/p>\n

Farke isn\u2019t concerned about winning the Championship title after securing promotion to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The German manager shared that the Whites have already done their job of winning automatic promotion, and winning first place doesn\u2019t really matter as it won\u2019t give them any sort of advantage in the top flight.<\/p>\n

While Farke isn\u2019t putting too much pressure on his players, he admitted that winning the league is definitely something the Whites want to do.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, the 48-year-old head coach said: \u201cIf I\u2019m honest we have finished the job, I\u2019ve won the league title two times and you don\u2019t have an advantage in the Premier League winning the title,\u201d Farke stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe big challenge was bringing this club back to the Premier League. It was a huge challenge, we\u2019re happy and proud we\u2019ve achieved this. 94 points is club-best ever achieved. The club has never scored 89 goals [in a season], best goal difference. Two more game days to improve this, win more points, add more goals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s a chance, of course, we want to win the league. Burnley is a fantastic competitor, they also deserve it. We will try to do this and finish as strong as possible, but it won\u2019t give us any advantage next season.\u201d<\/p>\n
