(Credit: Imago)<\/p>\n<p>Senior players at <a href=\"https:\/\/motleedsnews.com\/stadium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elland Road<\/a> are backing Farke amid speculation around his future, Graeme Bailey says.<\/p>\n<p>The TBR Football journalist believes several influential players at the West Yorkshire outfit appreciate the German manager for the work he\u2019s done this season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/motleedsnews.com\/tag\/daniel-farke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Farke<\/a> has had to deal with multiple fitness issues in the squad over the last few months, but the Whites are set to end their two-year exile from the top flight soon.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/news\/how-the-leeds-united-dressing-room-truly-feel-about-daniel-farke-after-49ers-talks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> (24 April): \u201cI think there\u2019s a good section of the senior players who appreciate Farke for the way he\u2019s managed the squad this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think a lot of what he\u2019s done in the last month will be massively in his favour, and I think the senior players will back him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Ethan-Ampadu-Leeds-United-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Ethan Ampadu playing for Leeds\" class=\"wp-image-178212\" \/>Senior players at Leeds back Farke. (Credit: Imago)<\/p>\n<p>Norwich City fans will welcome Farke back with open arms if the Whites sack him, Chris Sutton says.<\/p>\n<p>The former English forward believes the Canaries\u2019 supporters won\u2019t think twice about having the German manager back at Carrow Road.<\/p>\n<p>While a return to Norfolk has been mooted, Sutton has urged the West Yorkshire outfit to back the manager in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on It\u2019s All Kicking Off (24 April), the Englishman said: \u201cDo I have a problem with Leeds changing managers after Farke gets them promoted? I think it\u2019s extremely harsh if it were to happen. If they can get someone with a far greater skill set, that\u2019s very subjective.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I would say to you, if you ask any Norwich City fan if they\u2019d take Farke back, they\u2019d in an absolute heartbeat. If Leeds spend wisely, which Norwich didn\u2019t do when Farke was at the helm, then they may give themselves an opportunity. It was a huge challenge, we\u2019re happy and proud we\u2019ve achieved this. 94 points is club-best ever achieved. The club has never scored 89 goals [in a season], best goal difference. Two more game days to improve this, win more points, add more goals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s a chance, of course, we want to win the league. Burnley is a fantastic competitor, they also deserve it.
