For the famous Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team, the Singapore Grand Prix weekend<\/a> represented a setback in their ambitions to challenge for second in the constructors\u2019 title.<\/p>\n

With Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton managing sixth and eighth to George Russell\u2019s race win and Kimi Antonelli\u2019s fifth place finish, it means that Ferrari lies 27 points adrift with six races remaining.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter two street circuits, we return to a permanent track at COTA, which offers a very interesting mix of corners,\u201d commented Team Principal Fred Vasseur on the official Scuderia Ferrari website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a layout that demands precision from everyone \u2013 the team in terms of set-up and the drivers in feeling at one with the car. The weekend will be even more challenging with the Sprint format, giving us just one free practice session before heading straight into competitive sessions.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know we haven\u2019t maximised the potential of our package in the last few races, but the team is united and fully determined to turn things around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vasseur has reason to be confident. The season is far from over and the Circuit of the Americas is a track that Ferrari loves. They finished a brilliant 1-2 in 2004 and Ferrari\u2019s history in the USA, albeit chequered, is something to be admired.<\/p>\n
