A huge new burger joint landing in the heart of the Baltic Triangle has confirmed its opening date. Marty\u2019s restaurant, which has been teased for months, is set to welcome its first customers within a few days’ time.<\/p>\n
The site, which sits opposite BOXPARK Liverpool <\/a>and the Cains Brewery Village, first put up signage in back in March. Until this month, the team behind it have remained tight-lipped about what to expect. However, owners Sham Saleh and Moss Martin, both 31-years-old and from Old Swan,<\/a> have confirmed the wait is almost over as they prepare to serve the first set of customers on Friday, October 17.<\/p>\n The opening will see the brand give away 100 smash burgers, \u00a3100 cash, \u00a3100 voucher and a black card will be given to one customer entitling them for free food for life. Rounding off the celebrations is a live DJ set.<\/p>\n Sham previously told the ECHO<\/a>: \u201cWe\u2019re currently in trials at our Upper Parliament Street site, and while the exact opening date remains under wraps, it won\u2019t be long before Liverpool gets its first taste.<\/p>\n \u201cWe couldn\u2019t imagine launching Marty\u2019s anywhere else. Liverpool is our home, it\u2019s a city with energy, character, and people who love good food. To bring something world-class here first feels special, and we can\u2019t wait to share it with everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n Marty\u2019s was born from Sham and Moss\u2019s story as two childhood best friends from Liverpool. They proudly told how they were both \u201cborn and raise in Old Swan\u201d, living on the same street, going to the same nursery, school and then university.<\/p>\n Their friendship then took them on a trip to New York, where the pair found themselves sitting on the Brooklyn Bridge late at night, eating a SmashBurger that stopped them \u201cin their tracks\u201d.<\/p>\n Sam said: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t just the food, it was the flavour, the craft, the experience. From that moment, we made a promise to bring that same standard home to Liverpool.<\/p>\n \u201cThat promise shaped everything we do today. At Marty\u2019s, every burger is built on 100% grass-fed Black Angus beef, chosen for its richness and tenderness. And then there\u2019s our chicken smash, something nobody else in the UK is offering.<\/p>\n \u201cChicken smashes are notoriously hard to perfect because they dry out, but ours uses prime organic, Soil Association certified cuts, seared to a golden crust while staying tender and juicy. It\u2019s a new standard for chicken, and it\u2019s only at Marty\u2019s.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom the potato buns to our signature \u2018fire dip\u2019 every element is crafted with care, flavour, and pride. This isn\u2019t just another burger brand – Marty\u2019s is the home of the SmashBurger in Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n It isn\u2019t the only new venue expected to open on Parliament Street. <\/a>Just a few doors down, an Asda<\/a> Express is getting underway to open. It will be the supermarket giant\u2019s first venture into the area.<\/p>\n This week saw official signage go up in the 4,000 square-foot space.
