Key man Nicolas Raskin<\/a> hopes to “feel the love” from the next Rangers manager as he opened up on his clash with axed Russell Martin.<\/p>\n

Martin dropped the Belgian international in the wake of Rangers<\/a> since 6-0 hammering in the Champions League playoff at the hands of Club Brugge.<\/p>\n

He would spend three games out of the picture before getting the green light to return – and marked that moment by mark netting the first goal against Hibs<\/a> to put the Light Blues on the path to the Premier Sports Cup<\/a> semi-final with a 2-0 victory.<\/p>\n

Martin <\/a>would stick with the 24-year-old after his recall – but the former Southampton boss has now been shown the door.<\/p>\n

Kevin Muscat <\/a>is the frontrunner for the vacant hot seat after both Danny Rohl and Steven Gerrard pulled out of the running.<\/p>\n

And after playing for his country in the 4-2 win over Wales, Raskin said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a secret, it\u2019s been a tough time for me at the start of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cFeeling the love of the manager is top for me. Now it\u2019s time to go back and help my team to sort things out.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone knows we don\u2019t have a manager right now. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen. I\u2019m going back to figure out what the plan is.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I go back I want to give everything to the club. They give me so much.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look at the tough time I had, the fans support me and give me so much love. So I can only try to give them everything back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll go back and just try and help the team to achieve.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raskin refused to give up on the chance of success this season – despite the club languishing in eighth spot in the Scottish Premiership table after Martin’s disastrous tenure.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cIt\u2019s been a difficult start. We have to do better.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to see what\u2019s going to happen then hopefully we can settle things down and have a decent season. There\u2019s loads to play for.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur fans deserve a lot. They are so good home and away and as a team we need to give them something back.\u201d<\/p>\n
