Her father was such an important figure in music and the world, it\u2019s hard to ignore the hole he\u2019s left behind. D\u2019Angelo, born Michael Eugene Archer, passed away on October 14, 2025, at age 51 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Imani is one of D&#8217;Angelo&#8217;s three children. She was generous in sharing her broken heart with the world and for giving us all an inside look into who D\u2019Angelo was as a man and a father.
