described as &#8220;truly the stuff of fairytales and sugarplum dreams&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Standing over three metres tall and surrounded by candy canes, the whimsical fairytale turreted castle slowly rotates as it glides along and is sure to bring the ooos and aahs and have all the youngsters in the crowd wide-eyed with wonder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">And of course it wouldn&#8217;t be the Manchester Christmas Parade without everyone&#8217;s favourite, the enchanting Snow Queen mesmerising all as she sits in her giant snow globe sliding her way through the city streets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The date for this year&#8217;s Christmas Parade has been announced as<strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\"> Sunday, December 7, <\/strong>and is set to welcome thousands into the city, which will be in the midst of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/manchester-christmas-markets\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester Christmas Markets<\/a> season too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/0_DBR_MEN_161025ParadeJPG.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>See the Snow Queen on this year&#8217;s Mancheser Parade, on Sunday December 7(Image: Mark Waugh)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">In past years it has set off at 12pm, but organisers say the exact timings of the 2025 parade will be confirmed nearer the parade date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Backed from start to finish with a seasonal soundtrack, the parade will also feature live music from the likes of the Bloco Band blasting out the Christmas classics, the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band playing tunes with a Christmassy twist, and more, as well as the chance to sing along with Elton Wrong piano man as he rides along on his portable stadium stage whilst playing the piano and crooning his way through his top ten of pop hits and show tunes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The council say families should watch out on the day for plenty of pop-up festive fun around the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The city council is working with a range of partners including outdoor arts organisations Global Grooves, Walk the Plank, Handmade Parade, and Fools&#8217; Paradise to help make sure that this year&#8217;s Manchester Christmas Parade is &#8220;the best yet&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/0_DBR_MEN_161025Parade_05JPG.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Santa will be out on parade(Image: Mark Waugh)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Councillor Pat Karney, Christmas spokesperson for Manchester City Council, said: &#8220;There&#8217;s nowhere that does Christmas quite like Manchester and our Christmas Parade has fast become a favourite in the city&#8217;s festive calendar with Mancunians and visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">&#8220;Seeing the joy and wonder on the faces of everyone as they watch the parade would melt even the hardest of hearts and this year we&#8217;re going all out to put on an unmissable parade that makes memories for children and families that last a lifetime.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">This year organisers have also announced they want to &#8220;spread the love&#8221;
