It is a public\u2013private partnership housed within the Office for Investment, bringing together OfI, HM Treasury, the PRA, the FCA, the City of London Corporation, and secondees from leading professional services firms.<\/p>\n<p>The OfI:FS, shaped by the City of London Corporation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobalcity.uk\/future-of-fps-investment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blueprint<\/a>, informed by 200+ stakeholder consultations, delivers a consistent, UK-wide offer linking investment to local strengths. Combining public\u2013private collaboration with global best practice, it streamlines engagement and keeps the UK at the forefront of international competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The OfI: FS will serve as a strategic one-stop shop for international financial services investors, offering joined-up, tailored support from market entry to expansion. It aims to create a unified, investor-centric and digitally enabled UK model to attract and retain financial services investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0To stay close to both government and industry, OfI:FS will be based across government offices and at the City of London\u2019s Guildhall, ensuring investors are supported at the centre of UK decision-making. It could help the UK unlock \u00a310 billion in additional investment by 2030, spread across all nations and regions of the UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Hayward, Policy Chairman at City of London Corporation, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis marks a game-changing moment for UK financial services.
