Leeds United are already making plans for the January transfer window with Jack Harrison\u2019s long-term future coming under scrutiny in recent weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n Harrison returned to Leeds during the summer after two years on loan at Everton<\/a>, but has so far struggled to make his mark on Daniel Farke<\/a>\u2018s side.<\/p>\n The 28-year-old has made seven appearances so far this season, but his only start came during their Carabao Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n As a result, there is a growing feeling that he could be allowed to leave the club in the January transfer window with Leeds preparing to entertain offers.<\/p>\n This comes after Football Insider<\/strong> exclusively revealed last month that Leeds want to sign a new winger<\/a> in the January window, potentially forcing Harrison out.<\/p>\n Leeds were open to selling Harrison in the summer<\/a>, but only planned to do so if they could land a replacement rather than losing a valuable squad player.<\/p>\n As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/a><\/strong>, that will remain the case in January, with Harrison\u2019s exit likely to depend on whether an immediate replacement can be found when the January window opens.<\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n Farke is not interested in weakening his side, even by losing squad players, and will only sanction sales mid-way through the season if they are replaced adequately.<\/p>\n Speaking on the Inside Track podcast<\/strong>, I explained: \u201cYeah, it\u2019s a surprise that he\u2019s back at Leeds United really, having had those two loan spells away from Elland Road.<\/p>\n \u201cLook, for Leeds right now, they\u2019re probably looking to strengthen the squad rather than weaken it. <\/p>\n \u201cHarrison, he\u2019s under contract until 2028 as well.
