{"id":50682,"date":"2025-04-25T23:53:13","date_gmt":"2025-04-25T23:53:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/50682\/"},"modified":"2025-04-25T23:53:13","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T23:53:13","slug":"solid-start-in-spain-for-cormac-buchanan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/50682\/","title":{"rendered":"Solid Start in Spain for Cormac Buchanan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Zealand Moto3 rider Cormac Buchanan has kicked off his Spanish Grand Prix weekend with a productive day on track at the Circuito de Jerez, showing promising pace and a clear plan for improvement ahead of Qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Riding for Denssi Racing \u2013 BO\u00c9, Buchanan opened the day with Free Practice 1, finishing 16th on the timesheets with a best lap of 1:46.146\u2014just over four tenths off the Top Ten.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA good start to the weekend,\u201d he said. \u201cWe focused on laying down our base to build from. Spinning as many laps as possible so we can already start preparing for Sunday. I\u2019m happy with the work and the direction we are going in. We\u2019ve got clear ideas and places to improve, so now I focus on putting the lap together in the time attack for the practice coming up\u2014let\u2019s keep working!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"647\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/491417285_18278901133252413_3313871906622493906_nuu-1024x647.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-77296\"  \/>#14 Cormac Buchanan during Practice at Jerez in Spain. Image: Cormac Racing Facebook<\/p>\n<p>He followed that up with another solid run in the second session, finishing 18th in Practice with a time of 1:45.778.
