A Newtown<\/a> man who repeatedly annoyed people in a Welsh town has been jailed, after police officers found him acting in breach of a previous Criminal Behaviour Order. Alan Newton, 61, has been put behind bars for 36 weeks after officers discovered he was making inappropriate sexual comments while drinking from a wine bottle in Newtown on Sunday, October 5.<\/p>\n Newton was already subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order following a series of alcohol-fuelled incidents in the town, according to Dyfed-Powys Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n This order consisted of six individual prohibitions which meant that it would be illegal for Newton to drink or be drunk in public, or engage in inappropriate sexual comments or behaviour against any member of the public, the force<\/a> said.<\/p>\n While conducting patrols, Dyfed-Powys Police<\/a> officers from the Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Team came upon Newton, who was found behaving in a direct breach of his order.
