A Gorilla bar staff member died in a flat near the venue’s sister site The Deaf Institute, bosses have confirmed.<\/p>\n

Three arrests have been made following the tragic discovery in the early hours of Thursday (October 16). The 19-year-old woman was discovered unresponsive in the early hours of Thursday (October 16).<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said officers attended an address on Grosvenor Street off Oxford Road<\/a>, following reports of a concern for welfare.<\/p>\n

Police confirmed that three arrests were made there in connection with alleged drugs supply.<\/p>\n

Bosses at The Deaf Institute, owned by Tokyo Industries – along with Gorilla and a host of other venues – said: “We can confirm that in the early hours of Thursday morning a team member from our Gorilla venue tragically passed away in an apartment on Grosvenor Street.<\/p>\n

“We do not have any detailed information as to what occurred at this time, and it would be inappropriate for us to comment further particularly whilst there is an ongoing police investigation.<\/p>\n

“Naturally, we have reached out to Greater Manchester Police and informed them that we will assist in any way we can in terms of uncovering what has happened.<\/p>\n
