Director <strong>S\u00e9bastien Vani\u010dek<\/strong>\u00a0announced the news with the brief video below.<\/p>\n<p>The sixth film in the beloved horror franchise is set to possess theaters on <strong>July 24, 2026<\/strong> via New Line and Warner Bros.<\/p>\n<p>Filming began in New Zealand on July 22.<\/p>\n<p>Vanicek penned the script with his Infested co-writer <strong>Florent Bernard<\/strong>. <strong>Philip Lozano<\/strong> (Cobweb, MadS) serves as cinematographer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Souheila Yacoub<\/strong> (Dune: Part Two), <strong>Hunter Doohan<\/strong> (\u201cWednesday\u201d), <strong>Luciane Buchanan<\/strong> (\u201cThe Night Agent\u201d), and<strong> Tandi Wright<\/strong> (Pearl) star.<\/p>\n<p>Plot details remain under wraps, but Vani\u010dek <a href=\"https:\/\/www.konbini.com\/popculture\/sebastien-vanicek-le-realisateur-de-vermines-va-faire-un-nouveau-film-evil-dead-et-il-nous-raconte-comment-il-a-recupere-ce-projet-de-fou\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously said<\/a>, \u201cI told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested. I\u2019m going to put all the horror I have inside, it will be cathartic, and if I haven\u2019t ruined my career and I can continue to make films behind it, I will move on to something other than horror!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evil Dead creator <strong>Sam Raimi<\/strong> and franchise producer <strong>Rob Tapert<\/strong> produce via their Ghost House Pictures.
