Big Brother viewers were left baffled as the show aired an unexpected twist<\/a> that saw two housemates make a return to the series.<\/p>\n During Friday’s (October 17) episode of the ITV<\/a> hit reality show, it was time for the usual live eviction, however in a show first no one was getting sent home.<\/p>\n Best friends Sam and Nancy were chosen to face the public vote after their private conversation about Jenny was revealed to the house, sparking a major row.<\/p>\n Nancy broke down in tears and hugged her best pal as hosts Will Best<\/a> and AJ Odudu<\/a> revealed that Sam had received the most votes from the public.<\/p>\n Everyone believed that Sam had been sent home but in a shock twist, he was sent to a secret room alongside two former housemates.<\/p>\n Fans witnessed the return of 2023’s first evictee Farida, as well as Emily, who was evicted on the first night of the current series.<\/p>\n The trio will be hidden away from their fellow housemates before re-joining the game later on in the series.<\/p>\n Sam was in disbelief as he walked through the front door just to find out his time in the Big Brother house wasn’t over. Will instead escorted him to the secret room, where he joined Farida and Emily.<\/p>\n As expected it didn\u2019t take long for viewers to rush straight to social media to share their reaction as they questioned why the crowd was so quite during the eviction.<\/p>\n One fan said: \u201cThey definitely know something is up because the crowd was far too quiet #bbuk #BigBrother.\u201d<\/p>\n Another wrote: \u201cAj literally screaming about there being 3 new housemates into the mic yet the crowd couldn\u2019t cheer for the secret housemates I\u2019m so confused #bbuk #BigBrother.\u201d<\/p>\n A third fumed: \u201cTHIS CROWD IS SO S*** #BigBrother #bbuk.\u201d Meanwhile other added: \u201cPossibly the most disinterested #LiveEviction crowd I’ve ever seen. #BigBrother #BigBrotherUK.\u201d<\/p>\n A fifth person wrote: “Messiest fake eviction of all time. #BBUK.”<\/p>\n During the first episode the series, Sam, Caroline and Emily were voted as the bottom three housemates and were forced to decide who would leave. In the end, they decided Emily would be the one to go, with her stay cut extremely short.<\/p>\n Farida was also the first housemate evicted in the 2023 series with fans left fuming that they didn’t get to see more of the icon.<\/p>\n Despite her short stay, she made a huge impact on the house, with former housemates revealing she was spoken about everyday since her departure.<\/p>\n Speaking on why she wanted to return, Farida said: “Firstly, I think it\u2019s a fantastic choice.
