The Princess of Wales<\/a> proved her baking credentials during a recent trip to Ireland, and shared a sweet moment with Prince William while getting stuck into the activity together. Both the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the McKeever family at a farm in Northern Ireland, and had a go at making a traditional potato apple bread. <\/p>\n

During the experience, the couple couldn’t stop laughing and smiling with each other, as they each tried making their own bake at Long Meadow Farm in Portadown. They then shared a video of their efforts to mark this year’s National Baking Week (13-19 October) across social media. <\/p>\n

In a caption, they wished everyone a ‘happy National Baking Week!’ and described their time baking with the McKeevers as ‘fun’, thanking the family for having them. <\/p>\n

Prince William and Kate visited Northern Ireland earlier this week and spent time at farms learning about the traditional crafts there. As well baking, the couple had a go at apple picking and even sampled local cider – also produced by the McKeever family. <\/p>\n

The couple praised the ‘opportunity and sustainability at the heart of Orchard County’, saying it was ‘great to see the connection and love at the heart of everything.’<\/p>\n

For the visit, Kate wore autumnal layers in earthy tones, including moss green. Her taupe cardigan is by British brand With Nothing Underneath, and is currently available to shop online (although some sizes are starting to sell out). She paired it with a ‘midaxi’ skirt and a classic Barbour jacket. <\/p>\n
