Tide Lines<\/a> have announced a show on the city’s grandest stage, as the cherished Scottish band mark a decade together with an enormous arena gig at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Saturday, September 19 next year.<\/p>\n This one-off show, to celebrate their latest album, Glasgow Love Story, will signify their decade-long journey from the bands Highland <\/a>roots to city success and will mark the band’s largest ever headline show.<\/p>\n The band, formed of Robert Robertson, Ross Wilson, Alasdair Turner and Fergus Munro, first arrived on the music scene back in 2016 which cemented them as a force in the Scottish folk world<\/a> and drew fans from all over the country.<\/p>\n For a group whose tale began in a Glasgow<\/a> pub and whose latest album pays homage to the city that moulded them, there could be no more appropriate way to commemorate ten years.<\/p>\n Launched earlier this year, Glasgow Love Story is a deeply personal homage to the city that set them on their course. It earned them a UK No. 11 and Scottish No. 1 album, their third consecutive as a fully independent band<\/a>.<\/p>\n Reflecting on the landmark, lead singer\/guitarist Robert Robertson states: “We wanted to put on a really special, one-off show to celebrate our 10th birthday. This could only ever be in Glasgow!<\/p>\n “It’s where we met, first recorded and rehearsed together, and it’s also the subject of our latest album. The Hydro is such an iconic venue on the banks of the Clyde \u2013 an area that’s been right at the heart of our ten-year story. It’s the biggest headline show we’ve ever done, so it’s going to be a massive party!”<\/p>\n Established in 2016, Tide Lines unveiled their debut single Far Side of the World that summer. A decade later, the track has emerged as their defining anthem with close to 12 million streams, whilst the group have steadily climbed the ladder with a succession of chart-topping, independently released albums that have propelled them into the UK Top 15 and dominated the Scottish charts repeatedly.<\/p>\n From three back-to-back sold-out evenings at Glasgow’s iconic Barrowlands, where they earned their place in the venue’s Hall of Fame in 2024 to headline slots at festivals including Belladrum, Tide Lines have established themselves as one of Scotland’s most cherished bands, their rousing indie-folk striking a chord well beyond the Highlands and Islands that influenced them.<\/p>\n “If anyone’s enjoyed a Tide Lines show in the last ten years, you’ll want to be at the Hydro,” Robertson adds. “This is going to be the biggest of them all.”<\/p>\n UK & Ireland dates (2026):<\/p>\n Tickets are on sale next Friday, October 24, and can be purchased from the link here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n![\"Tide](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/0_000044JPG.jpg\")
