A place at the top of the Premier League<\/a> is at stake for Manchester City<\/a> on Saturday when they host Everton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola<\/a>‘s men return from the international break in fifth place but can at least temporarily move level on points with Arsenal<\/a> at the summit by beating the Toffees. City are undefeated in seven across all competitions since suffering back-to-back upsets against Tottenham and Brighton in August. Included in that run is a draw against incumbent leaders Arsenal, while City beat Brentford 1-0 away<\/a> in their final game before the hiatus.<\/p>\n

Everton travel to the Etihad Stadium<\/a> just two points worse off and currently eighth in the standings after ending Crystal Palace’s unbeaten run a fortnight ago. David Moyes<\/a>‘ men came from behind to draw 1-1 at the Etihad last season<\/a>, and the manager would likely be more than content with a repeat of that result this weekend.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland returned home from the international break early<\/a> and is looking to build his lead as the Premier League’s top scorer on nine goals. The Manchester Evening News<\/strong> previews Saturday’s showdown and provides all the need-to-know broadcasting information ahead of kick-off.<\/p>\n

What time does Man City vs Everton kick off?<\/p>\n

City will open the Etihad doors on Saturday, October 18, to face Everton in a clash that will kick off at 3pm. It’s one of five Premier League fixtures kicking off at that time.<\/p>\n

Is Man City vs Everton on TV?<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for those based in the UK, Saturday’s clash at the Etihad will not be aired live by any of the major broadcasters. This is due to the 3pm blackout top-flight clubs must adhere to, which means kick-offs at that time are not available on British TV.<\/p>\n

The same doesn’t apply overseas, however, as the blackout rule only applies to broadcasting laws in the UK. Viewers in the United States, for example, can still catch the action live via Peacock.<\/p>\n

Instead, UK-based fans will have to wait for the highlights, which are usually posted on social media and YouTube<\/a> by Sky Sports shortly after full-time. Match of the Day will also air on BBC One from 10:30pm on Saturday evening, while it can also be streamed via iPlayer.<\/p>\n

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports<\/a> bundle for the 2025\/26 season, saving members \u00a3336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.<\/p>\n

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.<\/p>\n

City headed into another international break in the knowledge they’d be facing their latest period with Rodri out injured<\/a>. The Spain anchor came off during the win over Brentford earlier this month and is once again out of commission with a hamstring complaint.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Everton loanee Jack Grealish<\/a> won’t be eligible to face his parent club and could be replaced by Dwight McNeil. Moyes is hoping star defender Jarrad Branthwaite will be fit to make his first appearance of the season, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is free to return following suspension.<\/p>\n
