A man has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged “stabbing” on a Glasgow street.<\/a><\/p>\n Emergency crews <\/a>rushed to Hawthorn Street at 11.10pm on Thursday after receiving reports of a man being injured.<\/p>\n Upon attending, cops locked down Hawthorn Street between Fernbank Street and Memel Street after a 52-year-old man was found seriously injured.<\/a><\/p>\n He was raced to hospital, where his condition<\/a> is currently unknown.<\/p>\n Police Scotland have arrested and charged a 55-year-old man with attempted murder<\/a> in connection to the incident.<\/p>\n He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court<\/a> on Monday October 20.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the force <\/a>said: \u201cAround 11.10pm on Thursday, 16 October, we received a report of a man injured in the Hawthorn Street area of Glasgow.<\/p>\n \u201cEmergency services attended and the 52-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n \u201cA 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 October, 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n Yesterday, in a separate incident, we reported that two men have been charged<\/a> with attempted murder after a woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n A 17-year-old and 36-year-old were arrested and charged in connection with a murder bid after a 43-year-old woman was seriously injured in the incident on Fernlea Crescent in Annan on October 15.<\/p>\n Following a police<\/a> probe the two males were arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Friday October 17.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the force said: “Two people have been arrested and charged after a woman was seriously injured in an incident in Annan.<\/p>\n “A 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital after the incident at Fernlea Crescent around 9.55pm on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025.<\/p>\n “Two males, aged 17 and 36, have been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.
