Germany will deploy three members of the Bundeswehr to Israel to
\nhelp monitor compliance with the ceasefire agreement between Israel
\nand Hamas, Azernews<\/strong> reports, citing local media
\nand the German Defense Ministry\u2019s press service.<\/p>\n

According to the ministry, two officers and one brigadier
\ngeneral will travel to Israel next week to perform their duties \u201cin
\nuniform but unarmed.\u201d The German contingent will operate in
\nsouthern Israel at the Civil-Military Coordination Center, which is
\nstill under construction.<\/p>\n

The center will host around 200 military personnel in total. Its
\nmission includes monitoring adherence to the ceasefire and
\ncoordinating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza
\nStrip.<\/p>\n
