What is the Rugby League Ashes?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Rugby League Ashes is a series played between England and Australia and will get underway this month, with the two hemisphere giants clashing under the lights of three iconic venues in the UK.<\/p>\n

The two sides have not played each other in a competitive match since the 2017 World Cup Final, when Australia beat England 6-0.<\/p>\n

The inaugural Ashes series dates back to 1908.<\/p>\n

The most recent Ashes series took place in 2003, with the Kangaroos winning 3-0 on English soil after three tightly fought, blood and thunder battles.<\/p>\n
