Birmingham City have released a statement to refute allegations made by Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovi\u0107 that he was told to ‘Go back to Croatia’ by a member of the club’s security staff.<\/p>\n
Speaking in his press conference after his Hull side defeated Blues 3-2, Jakirovi\u0107 alleged that a security officer made the remark to him after an altercation with Blues manager Chris Davies.<\/a><\/p>\n Jakirovi\u0107 claims Davies said ‘F*** you’ to him, which the Blues<\/a> boss denies, before a further altercation with a member of security.<\/p>\n Blues have since responded to Jakirovi\u0107’s allegations in a strongly-worded club statement.<\/p>\n The club said: “Birmingham<\/a> City are aware of a serious allegation made by Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovi\u0107 towards a member of the security team at St. Andrew\u2019s @ Knighthead Park.<\/p>\n “Having conducted an internal investigation, the club refute, in the strongest possible terms, Mr Jakirovi\u0107’s claims. In addition, we are disappointed that the allegation was made in a public press conference.
