(Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-345826\" title=\"Arsenal star's international future still undecided despite England call-up 2\"\/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taylor Hinds<\/strong> has been named in <strong>Sarina Wiegman<\/strong>\u2019s England squad for friendlies against Brazil and Australia this month, but Jamaica have not given up hope of bringing her back into the Reggae Girlz fold.<\/p>\n<p>Busby confirmed that conversations with Hinds have continued and described the situation as \u201cup in the air\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI think she\u2019s actually alluded to that. Her future is up in the air and she hasn\u2019t made a final decision yet. We respect that. We\u2019ve had numerous conversations and communications up to yesterday, and we respect her decision at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hinds, who joined Arsenal from Liverpool this summer, has represented both England and Jamaica at different stages of her career. She came through the England youth setup before making her senior debut for Jamaica in a friendly against France last year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/taylorhinds_\/?hl=en-gb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Posting on Instagram<\/a> following her England call-up, Hinds wrote: \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to have two nationalities and I\u2019m incredibly proud to represent both. I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for Jamaica. They\u2019ve been so understanding and genuinely want the best for me, which means a lot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing called up to represent England is an amazing feeling and opportunity. (Photo by James Fearn\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-345825\" title=\"Arsenal star's international future still undecided despite England call-up 3\"\/>Photo by James Fearn\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Busby said Jamaica\u2019s administrative delays had contributed to her limited involvement with the Reggae Girlz, explaining: \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate in terms of some of the matches we would have liked to have got her in previously. But some of the paperwork, and again, some of the things were outside of our control and outside of her control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wiegman, who is aiming for World Cup glory following England\u2019s Euro 2025 triumph, said Hinds\u2019 call-up reflected her long-term planning. \u201cWe have been following Taylor for a long time,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/football\/2025\/oct\/14\/taylor-hinds-lucia-kendall-katie-reid-england-women-lionesses-football-millie-bright\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s come through the pathway. She has dual heritage so she\u2019s eligible for us. We started having conversations and she hasn\u2019t played much, but we are in a new cycle and I want to see talented players in some different positions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Busby, however, stressed that Jamaica will keep the door open. \u201cIt is a friendly, so I think that\u2019s where it comes in.
