Birmingham City have responded to the allegations made by Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovic\u0301 after the Tigers defeated the Blues 3-2 at the MKM Stadium on Saturday<\/p>\n

Birmingham City have issued a statement to dismiss claims made by Hull City<\/a> manager Sergej Jakirovicc that he was instructed to ‘Go back to Croatia’ by a member of the club’s security personnel.<\/p>\n

During his post-match press conference following City’s 3-2 victory over Blues,<\/a> Jakirovicc alleged that a security official directed the comment at him after a confrontation with Blues boss Chris Davies.<\/p>\n

Jakirovic\u0301 maintains that Davies told him ‘F^^^ you’, which the Blues manager disputes, before a subsequent clash with a security member.<\/p>\n

Blues have now addressed Jakirovic’s accusations in a forcefully-worded official statement.<\/p>\n

The club declared: “Birmingham City are aware of a serious allegation made by Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovic\u0301 towards a member of the security team at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.”, reports Birmingham Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Having conducted an internal investigation, the club refute, in the strongest possible terms, Mr Jakirovicc’s claims. In addition, we are disappointed that the allegation was made in a public press conference. We will be making no further comment at this time.”<\/p>\n

The trouble between the rival teams and staff started after a melee, with the managers not shaking hands at full-time.<\/p>\n

Just before the break tempers flared when Kyle Joseph and Marc Leonard clashed in front of the benches which sparked a huge melee with staff from both teams coming together.<\/p>\n
