Luka Vuskovic\u2019s rapid development may actually put Tottenham Hotspur in an extremely difficult position in the near future.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vuskovic has been getting rave reviews after his impressive start to his loan spell at Hamburg<\/a>, with the teenager being so good that it is hard to believe it\u2019s his first taste of football in a top-five league.<\/p>\n

The Spurs youngster has been labelled as the future of Croatian football<\/a>, and Tottenham will be hoping that he can fulfil his potential at N17.<\/p>\n

Vuskovic has revealed that Tottenham have a clear plan for his development<\/a>, but it has now been suggested that his rapid rise may actually pose a problem to the Lilywhites.<\/p>\n

Journalist Graeme Bailey has now pointed out that the 18-year-old is now showing that he is ready for top-level football, and he might be developing too quickly for the Lilywhites\u2019 liking.<\/p>\n

He suggested that Vuskovic<\/a> may want to start regularly at the highest level as early as next season, and he might not have room to do that at N17, given Cristian Romero\u2019s<\/a> and Micky van de Ven\u2019s<\/a> presence at the club.<\/p>\n

Bailey told TBR Football<\/a>: \u201cRB Leipzig and Dortmund are both in the market for a new defender in 2026, and Vuskovic is very much on their radar.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpurs love the player and have no intention to sell, but let\u2019s see what the player thinks. Is there a pathway for him at Tottenham with Romero and Van de Ven in place? Currently, it\u2019s hard to see one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spurs may have to loan Vuskovic out again next season<\/p>\n

Vuskovic revealed that Tottenham were happy for him to stay at the club this season<\/a>, but he decided to go out on loan in order to play regularly.<\/p>\n

Now that he is tasting regular Bundesliga football and excelling, there is no doubt that he will want to continue playing regularly next season.<\/p>\n

The next step for Tottenham could thus potentially be to loan out Vuskovic to a Premier League<\/a> club next season, unless Thomas Frank decides that the Croat is ready to compete with Romero and Van de Ven.<\/p>\n
