By now, Margot Robbie<\/a>\u2019s bucket list must be busy with ticks. She\u2019s done things people around the world grow up dreaming about as she\u2019s climbed the ladder to become one of the best-known names and faces on the screen. But she\u2019s not done yet.<\/p>\n

Where to even begin with the many golden opportunities Robbie has harnessed? <\/p>\n

Her fourth role came in the form of a Martin Scorsese flick, for one, seeing her take on the iconic character of Naomi Lapaglia in the huge\u00a0The Wolf Of Wall Street<\/a>. After that, more than made her name, she\u2019s moved on to other goals, like getting a \u2018Best Actress\u2019 Oscar nomination for\u00a0I, Tonya, starting her own hugely successful production company, and then later returning to the Oscars with a \u2018Best Picture\u2019 nominee, both thanks to her acting and her production role on\u00a0Barbie.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s only just scratching the surface. Robbie by now has taken on a bunch of powerful roles, as well as working with some of the greats, including Scorsese but also Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Richard Curtis, Greta Gerwig and more.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a career of dreams as she prepares to\u00a0star in and produce an Emerald Fennell movie;<\/a>\u00a0it shows no sign of slowing or stopping, as the actor still has dreams and goals she wants to achieve.<\/p>\n

In particular, she had goals to do with celebrating and sharing the screen with more homegrown Australian talent, telling FilmInk, \u201cI\u2019ve being dying to work with Andrew Dominik\u201d as one of the directors she\u2019s still determined to collaborate with. Baz Luhrmann would be another one<\/a> as she said, \u201cBaz Luhrmann would be one of those bucket list sort of things.\u201d<\/p>\n

In terms of other actors, she said, Cate Blanchett has always been my absolute acting \u201cidol\u201d. But there\u2019s one man that she went as far as to say she\u2019s mutated herself just to work alongside him.<\/p>\n

\u201cBen Mendelssohn\u2026I would chop off my right hand to work with him,\u201d she said, so everyone, please safely remove the knives from Robbie\u2019s vicinity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It feels somewhat like a random one. Mendelssohn is well known, but mostly in the world of superhero flicks, thanks to his role as Talos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Perhaps this is Robbie saying she\u2019s ready to surrender to the MCU and come back to the world of portraying comic book characters. But perhaps it\u2019s more than she\u2019s a fan of Mendelssohn\u2019s other work, like his roles in 2010\u2019s\u00a0Animal Kingdom,\u00a0which made his name.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mostly, though, Robbie and Mendelssohn\u2019s connection is one of a shared past. Both of them did the absolute Australian rite of passage by starring in the soap opera,\u00a0Neighbours, so it seems that, really, good neighbours do become good friends who want to star in a serious movie together next.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
