The economic growth will be around 5 per cent,\u201d Zhu said at a conference in Beijing on Friday, hosted by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cI personally think that we will keep this 4.5 to 5 per cent growth annually in the next five years and that will build up a solid foundation to achieve the 2035 goal,\u201d he said, referring to the government\u2019s pledge to \u201cbasically achieve socialist modernisation\u201d by that year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Zhu Guangyao addresses the conference at Renmin University in Beijing on Friday.
