{"id":513527,"date":"2025-10-20T04:29:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T04:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/513527\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T04:29:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T04:29:12","slug":"murdoch-acquires-king-nonfiction-bookspublishing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/513527\/","title":{"rendered":"Murdoch acquires King nonfiction | Books+Publishing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\tMonday, 20 October 2025 \u00a0 Books+Publishing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/booksandpublishing\/\" class=\"entry-social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> @booksandpublishing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Murdoch Books has acquired world rights to Screen Wise by Madonna King.<\/p>\n<p>Screen Wise will address screen time and online safety, \u201cthe biggest issue facing parents today\u201d, said the publisher. \u201cMadonna King comes to this topic with the level of authority and thorough research that will make this the most comprehensive parenting book on raising kids of all ages in the digital age.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>King is a journalist and speaker, and the author of several nonfiction books including Being 14, Fathers and Daughters, Ten-Ager and Saving Our Kids (all Hachette).<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cWhen 57 percent of Gen Z say they wish social media had never been invented, we know the struggle our children have in this digital world. This book is a plea by our children for help navigating their way through a global experiment. And it\u2019s our job as parents to do that.
