Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens kept up his 100 per cent start for the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Senne Lammens<\/a> made his Manchester United debut against Sunderland<\/a>, there was cautious optimism after an impressive performance. With a game away at Liverpool on the horizon, it was sensible not to get too carried away.<\/p>\n

Lammens has now passed the Anfield test, helping Manchester United to a 2-1 victory<\/a>, the club\u2019s first away win at Liverpool since 2016.<\/p>\n

The Belgian goalkeeper showed no fear at all, along with the rest of his teammates who were all determined to get the win.<\/p>\n

Lammens made five saves, facing an xG of 2.33 goals, and even made two high claims as he showed a willingness to come out and control his box.<\/p>\n

There is high interest in Senne Lammens in his native Belgium, following his deadline day move from Royal Antwerp<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lammens was called into the Belgium international squad<\/a> recently too, although he is yet to make his debut.<\/p>\n

The goalkeeper\u2019s big performance for Manchester United at Anfield<\/a> has made his nation proud, with a positive reaction in his country\u2019s media.<\/p>\n

Belgian outlet VoetbalPrimeur<\/a> reported: \u201cSenne Lammens\u2019s first away match with Manchester United proved a real test of strength. At Anfield, the Belgian goalkeeper held his own against Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n

HLN<\/a> focused on Lammens\u2019 crucial first half save, noting: \u201cIn the 35th minute, he kept Isak from leveling the score with a powerful leg sweep, in what is now considered his finest moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sporza<\/a> also focused in on his save from Isak, reporting: \u201cSenne Lammens remains unbeaten with Manchester United. Playing against arch-rivals Liverpool, the Belgian pulled off a crucial save to keep his team in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Nieuwsblad<\/a> newspaper noted that the goalkeeper had a little help from the woodwork, commenting:\u00a0\u201cLammens seemed to have a guardian angel on his crossbar.\u201d<\/p>\n

VoetbalKrant<\/a> added that while Lammens was beaten in the end, there was little he could do to prevent the goal itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cLammens conceded his first goal as Manchester United\u2019s goalkeeper. Gakpo slammed the ball into the back of the net, though our compatriot could do little to stop it.<\/p>\n

Senne Lammens gives Manchester United some assurance<\/p>\n

Manchester United\u2019s biggest flaw this season until the Sunderland game was the goalkeeper position.<\/p>\n

Altay Bayindir<\/a> was largely to blame for the opening defeat to Arsenal<\/a>, and he was completely hopeless in the loss at Brentford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Andre Onana was a disaster in his only appearance, away at Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This prompted United to go and buy Senne Lammens, but Ruben Amorim was too tentative to throw him straight into action.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the Lammens we are seeing now is a direct benefit of the break and slow adjustment to life in England.<\/p>\n
