I\u2019ve been working in the magazine world for six years now, and not once have I spotted Meghan Markle\u2019s <\/strong>skin looking anything less than perfect. It not only streamlined my makeup routine, but it also left my skin looking like I was wearing a beauty filter in real life.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAs a longtime Sarah Jessica Parker fan and someone who struggles with rosacea, I was beyond thrilled to discover the Sex and the City actress\u2019 favorite moisturizer can help treat the condition. As if I hadn\u2019t taken enough dating and fashion advice from Carrie Bradshaw, I\u2019m now taking skincare advice from SJP! She\u2019s used the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

Thanks to the name, the brand doesn\u2019t hide exactly what its intent is \u2014 to make makeup products look like your skin but better. That\u2019s exactly what this foundation did for me. The buildable formula has a lightweight, balmy texture that conceals, corrects and even camouflages any blemishes or imperfections. Unlike skin tints and foundations I\u2019ve tried in the past, this is the only one that truly covered up my rosacea, even without the help of concealer.<\/p>\n

Though it comes in 13 shades, ranging from porcelain to deep, the foundation also uses shade-adaptive FlexShade Technology. That means you can take the pressure off of picking the absolute perfect color, since the product adapts to your skin\u2019s unique shade and undertones for a flawless look. Since I use self-tanner, I ended up selecting shade 04 light medium. . . and quickly realized I should\u2019ve gone with shade 03 light. Luckily, thanks to FlexShade, the foundation was still able to blend with my skin.<\/p>\n

Another thing that impressed me about\u00a0No Makeup Makeup\u2019s foundation<\/a> (and what earned it a permanent spot in my makeup bag) is how it helped speed up my routine. I\u2019m normally someone who will use primer, tint, bronzing drops and concealer in an effort to perfectly layer my look. I decided to skip all of that when testing the product (minus some under-eye concealer) and still ended up with flawless-looking results. It had me wondering why I had all of those extra steps in the first place. Turns out, there actually is a foundation out there that can do it all.<\/p>\n

I used the foundation in conjunction with the brand\u2019s Perfect Foundation Brush<\/a> and would definitely recommend grabbing that as well. The tool is the ideal size, shape and density for applying the foundation. I\u2019ve used similar brushes when applying liquids, but combined with the product\u2019s balmier texture, it ended up being easier to glide on than I thought. It only took a few swipes before I was on to concealer.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re someone who doesn\u2019t like heavy foundations or cakey looks, Markle and I agree: This foundation is a must-try! If the soft-focus finish weren\u2019t enough, the clean and safe formula is also free of hormone disruptors \u2014 a hard-to-find feature in today\u2019s beauty market! At $55, the miracle-working find does sit closer to a luxury price point, but to me, the extra money is totally worth it. A little goes a long way with this next-level complexion enhancer.<\/p>\n
