Liverpool ONE has announced the return of its annual Halloween Street Party, with timings and performers now being confirmed. The day of festivities<\/a> will be happening this weekend on Sunday, October 16, from 11am to 5pm.<\/p>\n The event promises a day of thrilling entertainment, where \u201ccreativity meets costume chaos and every family member can embrace their spooky side\u201d. Centre stage is the much-loved children’s Halloween<\/a> competition. Taking place on Paradise Street this year, with a showcase that grows each year, the winning costume claims \u00a3200 to spend at Liverpool ONE, <\/a>with prizes for runners-up and surprise winners throughout the day.<\/p>\n Aspiring competitors can register on Paradise Street from 12pm, with final entries accepted until 3pm. Presenters Leanne Campbell and Trevor Jordan will be hosting the main stage and the competition.<\/p>\n Local favourites Katumba will be bringing Halloween-infused rhythms to the city\u2019s streets, hosting drumming workshops for kids. Their hands-on workshops offer participants the chance to master the beats with a Halloween twist.<\/p>\n MD Productions’ zombie dance collective returns with their signature masterclasses, teaching choreography before delivering their own performances that blend Halloween and dancing. New to this year is a kids\u2019 silent disco.<\/p>\n Roaming characters will materialise throughout Paradise Street, including the return of the Arachnobot, the giant spider, along with \u2018Uncle Doom\u2019 and his Organ of Gloom and other characters creating photo opportunities.<\/p>\n Donna Howitt, place strategy director at Liverpool ONE, said: “We\u2019re so excited to announce the full programme of activities for our Halloween Street Party.<\/p>\n “It\u2019s the perfect opportunity for families to come together and let their imaginations run wild with costumes, music and spooky fun.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery year the creativity and enthusiasm from kids amazes us, and this year promises even more thrills and laughs.
