Secrets and scandals are the focus of Coronation Street next week, as these new video clips show moments from storylines with huge drama.<\/p>\n

Now Carl Webster<\/a> (Jonathan Howard<\/a>) has settled into Weatherfield, he continues to turn his attention to Abi (Sally Carman<\/a>), which is an absolute recipe for disaster if you ask us!<\/p>\n

Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King) is still suspicious of Betsy (Sydney Martin), adamant her injured hand isn\u2019t so injured anymore.<\/p>\n

Also on the cobbles, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) carries on with her plot ahead of her exit, but she\u2019s thrown when Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) delivers some news to her.<\/p>\n

Lives are certainly changing in Coronation Street soon. Ahead of the episodes, here we have three brand new clips of what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n

Just as Kevin (Michael Le Vell) heads out, Carl chats to Abi about how he doesn\u2019t really know his brother.<\/p>\n

Sensing something might be wrong, Abi encourages Carl to open up. He admits the weight of Kevin\u2019s cancer diagnosis is resting heavy on him, and is now fearing he might regret the fact he hasn\u2019t spent much time with his sibling.<\/p>\n

Abi is surprised to witness a different side to Carl, and asks him to stay just as he goes to leave.<\/a><\/p>\n

Busy cooking, Carla is wound up when Betsy asks for another drink, pushing<\/a> the narrative her hand isn\u2019t fully recovered still.<\/p>\n

Carla passes Betsy her food and a pepper mill but because she\u2019s too engrossed in a TV show, the youngster uses her apparent sore hand.<\/p>\n

As Betsy realises what she\u2019s done, she stands up which causes the pasta to fall to the floor. Lisa (Vicky Myers) returns home right in the middle of the commotion, but she still refuses to believe that Betsy is lying to her and Carla.<\/p>\n

Friday, May 2<\/p>\n

As the week draws to a close, Daisy finds an upset Jenny in the<\/a> back room of the pub. She reveals a buyer has been found for the Rovers, and the investor meeting has now been cancelled.<\/p>\n

Gutted, a tearful Jenny hugs Daisy and says that she really doesn\u2019t want her to leave. Feeling abandoned, Jenny begs Daisy to not go \u2013 but what will she say next?<\/p>\n

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX from 7am each morning ahead of their broadcast.<\/strong><\/p>\n
