Part of a city centre building has just had a \u00a3100,000 refurbishment. OriGym, a fitness qualification provider, has launched new state-of-the-art facilities at its Liverpool headquarters.<\/a> The 2000 square foot space, found inside their office building at Exchange Court<\/a>, boasts a dedicated gym, classroom, and breakout areas, allowing them to offer even more opportunities to budding trainers.<\/p>\n

The team said the area was purpose-built specifically with health and fitness<\/a> education in mind, and will also offer sports massage and yoga teacher training workshops.<\/p>\n

They also said they hope the space allows them to provide a wider range and higher frequency of their fitness qualification courses, which include gym instructing, personal training, yoga, sports massage, and specialist fitness courses.<\/p>\n

OriGym\u2019s James Bickerstaff said: \u201cIt\u2019s a really exciting time for us. The fitness industry as a whole is buzzing, and by opening this new facility, we can begin to provide even more opportunities for people of all ages to get into fitness, no matter which speciality they choose.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m looking forward to most is the first day we can begin hosting sessions in the space and seeing the reaction of the students as they experience firsthand how the new facility has been designed to make their learning experience easier and more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen a real rise in the number of people moving into the fitness industry, and it\u2019s great that we can now support and further this, particularly in the city of Liverpool.<\/p>\n

It comes after OriGym recently walked away as winners from The British Fitness Awards 2025. The brand was named as Training Provider of the Year marking their second consecutive win, whereas Ellesmere Port\u2019s<\/a> Hayley Ryder being named as the best female fitness instructor for 2025.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old, from Kensington, told the ECHO<\/a>: “Winning the award genuinely makes everything I’ve worked for over these last 12 years worth it.<\/p>\n

“I don’t ever consider myself to be the best and never will because that’s not what I’m about, but I will say that I consider myself one of the hardest working.<\/p>\n

“Every single day, I’m up at half five in the morning to get to the gym for 6am, and I don’t get home until 8.30pm.
