Cheered off by hundreds of people, the students headed toward the eastern Croatian town of Osijek, the first stop on their journey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Nikola Kojcin acknowledged that \u201cit&#8217;s going to be really hard, but we&#8217;ll make it, we have to make it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">University students have been a key force behind <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/serbia-protests-vucevic-resigns-b71e3a0aacf5d0368b2bd1f4500170f5?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a nationwide anti-graft movement<\/a> in Serbia rattling <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/serbia-protests-vucevic-resigns-b71e3a0aacf5d0368b2bd1f4500170f5?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">populist President Aleksandar Vucic<\/a>. The students said their run to EU headquarters was a <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/serbia-sonic-attack-protest-vucic-weapon-214ff2630733b68dd2987e411b405197?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201creminder\u201d that the bloc should insist on its own values<\/a> of freedom, dignity and the rule of law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Vucic has repeatedly <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/serbia-protest-vucic-students-2571ab80897466d8645f10eaac5d8776\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accused the student protesters<\/a> of staging a \u201ccolor revolution&#8221; and working to \u201cdestroy Serbia\u201d under orders from abroad.
