The move aims to enhance nextbike group\u2019s reach and service offerings, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Meik Bruhs, CFO and Managing Director of nextbike, told Cities Today that the acquisition will enable the company to provide cities with more advanced technology solutions, supporting the integration of bike-sharing into broader public transport systems.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-71808 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-25-at-08.50.46-280x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"300\"  \/>Meik Bruhs, CFO and Managing Director of nextbike<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to improving the future of bike-sharing as an integral part of urban mobility,\u201d Bruhs said. \u201cThis expanded portfolio will allow us to offer cities enhanced hardware, software, and operational services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the merger expands nextbike\u2019s market presence, Bruhs emphasised that the company\u2019s tendering processes will remain locally focused.
