A woman has died following a crash in Co Down, police have confirmed.<\/p>\n
Police said the woman was aged in her 60s.<\/p>\n
It followed a crash on the Ballygowan Road area near Comber yesterday.<\/p>\n
Policer confirmed the woman died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Inspector Cherith Adair from the Collision Investigation Unit stated: \u201cPolice received a report at 12.30pm of a collision in the Ballygowan Road area.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur officers attended, supported by colleagues from partner emergency services. However, sadly the driver of the car, a woman aged in her 60s, was confirmed deceased at the scene. The Ballygowan Road has now reopened.<\/p>\n
\u201cCollision Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision. We are particularly keen to hear from persons who witnessed the incident or hold digital footage which may assist with enquiries.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis includes dash-cam, mobile, CCTV or other material. Contact police on 101, quoting reference number 651 of 20\/10\/25.\u201d<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said they received a 999 call at 12:33 on Monday shortly after the collision in Comber.<\/p>\n
One emergency ambulance was despatched alongside a hazardous area response team and the charity Air Ambulance.<\/p>\n
