The drama in the British royal family gets a new chapter seemingly every day. And though what\u2019s been in the spotlight the last few months has been the relationship between King Charles and Prince Harry<\/a>\u2014and their possible reconciliation\u2014as well as what that means for the relationship between Prince Harry<\/a> and his brother Prince William<\/a>, there is another relationship people are really interested in right now.<\/p>\n

Just recently, Prince Andrew<\/a> announced he would no longer use his royal titles, after rumors that his brother\u2014and if not his nephew, when he was King, would strip the title. But now, there are reports that will not be enough. The Sunday Times<\/a> reports that though both the King and the Prince of Wales are in agreement with Prince Andrew giving up his royal titles an honors, when William is King, he will ban Prince Andrew from royal life entirely. That includes public and private events and state occasions, including his coronation.<\/p>\n

The ban will also reportedly include Prince Andrew\u2019s ex, Sarah Ferguson<\/a>, but it will not extend to their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.<\/p>\n

In a\u00a0statement released by Buckingham Palace<\/a>\u00a0on Friday, Oct. 17, Prince Andrew said, \u201cIn discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith His Majesty\u2019s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me,\u201d he also said. \u201cAs I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital<\/a> the decision was a long time coming. \u201cIt was essential that this happened. It would have soon got to the point where anything the monarchy did would have been overshadowed by sleaze. When the email which proved he lied about the timeline of his\u00a0links with Epstein\u00a0went public, this was inevitable in some form.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also doesn\u2019t believe it was Andrew\u2019s decision. \u201cI think he was forced out,\u00a0he and Sarah Ferguson\u00a0face much more scandal. They, to coin a phrase from his email to Epstein that will haunt Andrew, \u2018are in it together.\u2019 The posthumous memoir out next week shows that Virginia Giuffre achieved in death what she could not in life,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital, \u201cHe will never be seen in public again with the senior royals. Prince William has been the force behind all of this, and he is right. Prince William is looking far more long-term at the viability, reputation and indeed existence of the monarchy.\u201d\u00a0She also added, \u201cHis not offering an apology is beyond despicable! He should disappear completely now and never be heard of nor seen again.\u201d<\/p>\n

But is this the last we\u2019ll hear of Andrew? Some experts don\u2019t believe so. Royal historian Andrew Lownie, who just wrote a book about him and Sarah Ferguson, told the\u00a0BBC\u00a0(via the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>), \u201cIt\u2019s coming from William and the government, I understand, who felt that this was a distraction from the wider work of the\u00a0Royal Family.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he also said, \u201cI think there\u2019s much more still to come out. And I think that was what was worrying them, that they were best to distance [themselves]\u2026before these new allegations arose.\u201d<\/p>\n
