{"id":517845,"date":"2025-10-21T20:29:31","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T20:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/517845\/"},"modified":"2025-10-21T20:29:31","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T20:29:31","slug":"wacker-announces-new-head-of-polysilicon-usa-and-charleston-site-local-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/517845\/","title":{"rendered":"WACKER announces new head of Polysilicon USA and Charleston site | Local News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Polysilicon USA and WACKER&#8217;s Charleston site will officially be under new leadership by the end of October.<\/p>\n<p>The chemical company announced on Tuesday that Stephan Fellner will officially become the head of Polysilicon USA and the Charleston location.<\/p>\n<p>Fellner will succeed Ken Collins, who will retire from WACKER on October 31.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe sincerely thank Ken for his contributions to the Charleston site,\u201d said Chris Kowitz, president and CEO of Wacker Chemical Corporation. \u201cUnder his leadership, we have strengthened our safety culture, expanded our community presence with the installation of Wacker Commons at the PIE Center in Cleveland, Tenn., and supported the site\u2019s growth from polysilicon production to also manufacturing HDK\u00ae pyrogenic silica. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before joining WACKER in 2007, Fellner worked for BASF and RHODIA in several countries.<\/p>\n<p>Fellner has led engineering at WACKER since 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Polysilicon USA and WACKER&#8217;s Charleston site will officially be under new leadership by the end of October.
